About Us

The P.A.L. Girls Basketball program is committed to building a solid foundation for basketball and life. By attending weekly practices the girls walk away with valuable knowledge about the game of basketball and receive assistance in defining goals, developing a plan of attack and improving their basketball skills.

We dare each kid to endeavor! Through practices, scrimmages, and team building exercises each child can’t help but to improve! We understand that life is more than just basketball and many of our activities incorporate the discipline and knowledge needed down the road. We endeavor to empower these young girls to succeed and you are invited to join us! Click HERE to learn more about CRC-PAL.
The Program
The P.A.L. Girls Basketball program is a basketball fundamental/developmental program for girls, ages 8-12, who have an interest in any or all of the following:
1) Leadership/Personal growth
2) Learning more about basketball
3) Developing their basketball fundamentals
4) Trying out for the Bitty-Ball (Winter) Team
5) Trying out for the Enforcers (Spring) Travel Team

Everyone is welcome to join the overall PAL Girls Basketball Program–there is no fee (children are expected to participate in a program fund raiser), and parents are required to register their child with CRC-PAL. Our overall PAL Girls Basketball Program consists of two skill groups: Beginner & Intermediate. Both groups workout together during open sessions.

When the open sessions become heavily populated, we will breakout into our respective skill groups for separate practice sessions; announcements will be made prior. Beginners must complete a skills test before entering the Intermediate group. Tryouts will be held for both the Bitty-Ball Team and Enforcers Travel Teams. The Bitty-Ball team(s) are comprised of PAL girls only (all girls must be registered with CRC-PAL and in the developmental program). The Enforcers Travel Team is an open tryout for anyone interested; assuming they meet the age requirement.

Gym space is limited. If you are interested in joining please contact Coach B, or Lt. Smith prior to attending–this will enable us to be better prepared for breakout sessions. Thanks!

This Girls Hoops program is made possible by: Chillicothe-Ross County Police Athletic League, and the Ross County Sheriff’s Office. Email Coach Betts or Call (740)779-39o5 for more information.
